MODESTO – Today, Assemblymember Juan Alanis announced that Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas has appointed him to the following committees for the 2026 legislative year. He will serve on them as follows:
- Public Safety, Vice Chair
- Labor & Employment, Vice Chair
- Agriculture
- Business & Professions
- Natural Resources
- Water, Parks, & Wildlife
- Public Employment & Retirement
“I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues on these key committees to tackle issues that matter most to Californians,” said Assemblymember Alanis. “I want to thank Speaker Rivas for these appointments, which will allow me to address the affordability crisis, public safety, gaps in the workforce, and protecting our water and agricultural resources all priorities that are crucial to the constituents I represent.”
Assemblymember Juan Alanis represents the 22nd Assembly District, which includes the communities of Modesto, Turlock, Ceres, Denair, Patterson, Gustine, Newman, Hilmar, Ballico, Snelling, Keyes, Grayson, Crows Landing, Diablo Grande, Stevinson, & Empire.
