SACRAMENTO— Assemblyman Juan Alanis has named Kasey Young, Executive Director of Stanislaus Regional 9-1-1, as the Assembly District 22 Woman of the Year. The honor recognizes her outstanding leadership, public service, and lasting contributions to public safety communications in the Central Valley.
“Kasey Young represents the very best of our community,” said Assemblyman Juan Alanis. “As Executive Director of Stanislaus Regional 9-1-1, she has led transformational change in public safety communications. Her leadership, innovation, and commitment to the people she serves have strengthened emergency response across our region. Because of her work, families throughout the Central Valley are safer. I am proud to recognize Kasey as the Assembly District 22 Woman of the Year.”
Each year during Women’s History Month, members of the California State Legislature recognize exceptional women from their districts through the historic “Woman of the Year” Floor Ceremony at the State Capitol.
The annual Woman of the Year recognition honors women who demonstrate exceptional leadership and achievement in their professions and communities. Honorees are recognized on the Assembly floor as part of the Legislature’s annual Women’s History Month observance.
Assemblymember Juan Alanis represents the 22nd Assembly District, which includes the communities of Modesto, Turlock, Ceres, Denair, Patterson, Gustine, Newman, Hilmar, Ballico, Snelling, Keyes, Grayson, Crows Landing, Diablo Grande, Stevinson, & Empire.
