SACRAMENTO –Would require all private youth sports organizations to have a written emergency response plan that is reviewed with coaches and staff annually. Would also ensure that any AED used is maintained and tested according to the guidelines established by the manufacturer of the AED. Finally, will ensure that coaches are certified, then recertified at least every two years, to perform CPR and operate an AED.
