ASSEMBLYMAN ALANIS REPORTS $2.7 MILLION RETURNED TO THE 22ND ASSEMBLY DISTRICT SO FAR IN 2025

Modesto, CA – Assemblymember Juan Alanis announced today that his office has successfully returned more than $2.7 million to constituents and local organizations in the 22nd Assembly District since the start of 2025.

“Every dollar back home counts. Ensuring that my constituents receive the money they are rightfully owed is one of my top priorities,” said Assemblymember Alanis. “As the cost of living continues to rise across California, every dollar matters. I’m proud that our office has been able to provide real financial relief to families and organizations in our community.”

To date, Assemblymember Alanis’s office has helped secure or return:

  • $707,000 in Employment Development Department (EDD) funds for constituents, including unemployment benefits, disability insurance, baby bonding, and paid family leave claims.
  • $2 million in Medi-Cal Rx funds for Mid Valley Health Services, a local health care clinic in Ceres. These funds ensured the clinic could remain open and continue providing critical care to the community.

“I am incredibly proud of the hard work my team has done to deliver these results,” added Alanis. “We will continue to advocate tirelessly for the residents of the 22nd District and ensure their voices are heard in Sacramento.”
